Labels truly limit ones ability to just BE. People begin to expect certain things of you the moment you’ve been sorted into a genre that they can best compute. Instead of getting to know you as a person, they’d rather find the nearest label you sound most like and completely miss out on the opportunity to delve deeper into your psyche.

Those who have gotten to know me on a personal level will tell ya, I’m a rather eccentric person. I at times tell inappropriate jokes, am incredibly sarcastic, I swear, I joke around, attimes competitive, the list goes on. However, those are merely small parts of me that don’t equate to my “whole” as an individual.

Surely I have standards but I’m also not without flaws. To be frank, I have absolutely no intentions of changing the very things about me that allow me to connect with a variety of people.

The best part of life is in exploring the very essence of what it can give to you. To dig deep within yourself, reach down and grab all the elements of you that make you tick, react, create, & attract. That would be incredibly difficult to do when you’re constantly being force fed beliefs about who you are by the labels that others shove down your throat.

The less labels you adopt, the more open your mind; the more susceptible you are to growth. For example, I am not the smartest person in the world. I don’t know all the secrets to life, I learn as I go. I know what I know through experience and expound to others what I’ve come to understand. That said, it is that exact mindset that will allow anyone to continuously acquire new information and perceptions about the world around them. Why? Because a child is not fed once they claim they are full.

I die daily.
We all do. The me of yesterday does not exist in the now unless I allow it.

You can’t size us up. No box can contain us.

We are ever-evolving spiritual beings. You weren’t made with a label, you were created with the purpose of breaking them down. #limitlesslioness
